A BUGNOTE has been added to this bug. ====================================================================== http://bugs.bacula.org/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=0000451 ====================================================================== Reported By: pletiplot Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: bacula Bug ID: 451 Category: Director Reproducibility: always Severity: feature Priority: normal Status: new ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 10-25-2005 03:37 PDT Last Modified: 10-25-2005 05:37 PDT ====================================================================== Summary: Feature request: Client command after backup fail Description: I backup Oracle by shutting it down, backuping dbf files, starting it up through bacula client command parameter. But when backup fails (not enough space etc), the After command will not run and server remains shut down. I would like to add new parametr into director's config's job resource, lets call it "Client command after backup fail" or similar. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan Langille - 10-25-2005 05:37 PDT ---------------------------------------------------------------------- As a general backup strategy, is it not better to create a database dump, backup the dump, and just leave the database server running?
