A BUGNOTE has been added to this bug. ====================================================================== http://bugs.bacula.org/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=0000141 ====================================================================== Reported By: ifmpeter Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: bacula Bug ID: 141 Category: Storage Daemon Reproducibility: always Severity: minor Priority: normal Status: feedback ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 10-19-2004 05:26 PDT Last Modified: 10-28-2004 10:17 PDT ====================================================================== Summary: status storage=DLT-0 gives strange output on a freshly rebooted server Description: See this output from "status storage=DLT-0" from a freshly restarted Bacula (compiled as a 64bit process). Some of these terminated jobs might have been started when I was running a 32bit-compiled Bacula: Interresting Jobid's, Dates and number of bytes... Have you run btape and the "test" command? If not please do so and report back. Btape will detect a number of editing problems of this kind. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ifmpeter - 10-21-2004 05:42 PDT ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I just ran the "btape -> test". No errors detected. I skipped the autochanger test since I was doing this test on a live system (using one of the DLT drives that wasn't in use and a blank test tape). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kern - 10-28-2004 10:17 PDT ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Is it possible that you ran Bacula compiled as a 32 bit application, then recompiled it as a 64 bit application? If the above is the case, please delete all your working directories, then recreate them and restart Bacula. All the old job status information will be lost, but I suspect that you will have no further problems. Some of the files that Bacula creates are "machine" dependent, and it does not expect the basic architecture to change. If this turns out to be the problem, please leave a bug note and I will document this problem.
