The following bug has been CLOSED ====================================================================== http://bugs.bacula.org/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=0000083 ====================================================================== Reported By: scoopex Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: bacula Bug ID: 83 Category: File Daemon Reproducibility: always Severity: major Priority: normal Status: closed ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 08-11-2004 22:40 GMT Last Modified: 08-12-2004 06:11 GMT ====================================================================== Summary: Strange interpretation of a FileSet-Definition Description: I have defined the following FileSet: ---FileSet { Name = "Standard-Fileset" Include { Options { onefs=no signature=MD5 exclude=yes wild = *.mp3 wild = *.MP3 wild = *.mpeg wild = *.mpg wild = *.avi wild = *.MPG wild = *.MPEG } File = / } Exclude { File = /proc File = /tmp File = /dev File = /prj File = /design File = /backup File = /mnt } } --- The /prj-directory is mounted via NFS. Bacula-FD seems to ignore the /prj exclude partially, because I discovered that it some direcories of /prj are backed up on any client which uses the Fileset. The directories have no significat differences in their permisssions. ---- # Directories which were backed up ms@bart: $ ll -d One/ drwxrwxr-x 8 138 users 512 Oct 9 2001 One/ ms@bart: $ ll -d Two/ drwxrwsr-x 9 rodney users 1024 Jun 9 11:46 Two/ ms@bart: $ ls -ld Three/ drwxrwsr-x 11 pi 114 512 May 5 15:54 Three/ # Directories which were ignored ms@bart: $ ls -dl Four/ drwxrwsr-x 3 pi users 512 Aug 8 2001 Four/ ms@bart: $ ls -dl Five/ drwxrwsr-x 3 135 users 512 Jun 11 2003 Five/ ---- (the directory-names are renamed by me) The cliens are running FreeBSD 4.8-4.10, and they use a Bacula 1.34.5 filedaemon, which was compiled on a FreeBSD 4.9 System. Best regards Marc Schoechlin ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kern - 08-12-2004 06:11 GMT ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This appears to be a duplication of bug # 76. In any case, your bug report is *far* too complicated. If applying the patch for bug 76 does not fix your problem create a new bug report where you save a single directory and show me the *exact* conditions that cause it to fail so that I can reproduce the problem -- otherwise I cannot fix it.
