It would be interesting to hear your Bacula pros/cons vs Amanda. It would be best if you pull down the current source (5.2.1) from source forge and work against it for the .po files. Even better than pulling the source from Sourceforge would be to checkout a git repo and use Branch-5.2, then you will be on *the* most current code.
