If you are unsure about a previous patch you can ask about it, but sending it a second time without notifying me that you are doing so, wastes my time, and it is even worse if previous patches are submitted with new patches. Also, please do not send tarred or compressed patches. It takes me more time to deal with them, and hereafter, I won't respond to any email containing tarred or compressed patches. It seems to me that you added a third patch. If this is the case, please resend it if you want me to consider it. Instead of writing a retorical note asking me a question such as: "Would you like to apply the appended update suggestion?" please describe why you are sending the patch, and exactly what it does. In the future, I will not respond to emails from you that do not contain that information along with any non-tarred, non-compressed patches you send. Finally, there is at least one of your emails where you continue to reiterate the same retorical questions that you have previously asked, and where I have already responded. In your case (only), I will not be responding to those emails. Kern |
