Hi all, i use bacula to create backups on diskstorage. my question here is, will it work, if I prune / purge a volume manual (by using bconsole) and deleting the responding volume file afterwards insight the filesystem. If I prune / purge a volume by bconsole using, will bacula also delete all attached jobs and filerecords in its database ? p.e.: i purge the volume test-0001 (and let them test-0002, test-0003, and so on). the I delete the file test-0001 in the filesystem. 1st question: will that work propperly and are all databases (jobs and files) still valid 2nd question: in the next backup run, will bacula create a new volume test-0001 ?? thx & rgds Achim |
