Hi, I have a freebsd 4.9-p2 with a python DDS-2 tape drive scsi (/dev/sa0). I have these in my sd conf : RemovableMedia = yes; RandomAccess = no; Backward Space Record = no; Hardware End of Medium = no; Fast Forward Space File = no; BSF at EOM = yes; The "btape test" works fine, but before starting using bacula, i wanted to use the "fill" test, it fills correctly but cannot read : error while seeking the last block: Error reading block: ERR=dev.c:940 ioctl MTFSR error on /dev/nrsa0. ERR=Input/output error. I tried to use /dev/sa0, /dev/rsa0 and /dev/nrsa0, always same problem. I tried both states of compression (enable and disable) same error. I tried to fix the block size to 64512 as min and max, same error. I don't know what to do now to solve this problem and to make sure that bacula can use my tape drive correctly. Thanks for any advice |
