Hello, I upgraded zlib to 1.1.4. The zlib errors during the "make" are gone now, thank you. I compiled the File Daemon with the --enable-client-only The "configure" script, "make" and "make install" generated no errors. But when i try to start the File Daemon i get the following error: ================================================== ld.so.1: ./bacula-fd: fatal: libz.so: open failed: No such file or directory Killed ================================================== Greetings, Jeroen van Waveren MEDIAL ICT Netherlands > -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- > Van: Kern Sibbald [SMTP:ke...@si...] > Verzonden: Wednesday, November 26, 2003 4:57 PM > Aan: Waveren, Jeroen van > CC: 'bac...@li...' > Onderwerp: Re: [Bacula-users] Error compiling bacula on Sun Solaris 2.6 > > Hello, > > It looks like you don't have the latest version of the zlib development > libraries loaded. > > Best regards, > > Kern > > On Wed, 2003-11-26 at 13:40, Waveren, Jeroen van wrote: > > Hi, > > > > I'm trying to compile bacula, but i get an error. > > > > OS= Sun Solaris 2.6 > > Bacula version = 1.32d > > > > I start with the following "configure" command: > > ========================================= > > ./configure \ > > --enable-smartalloc \ > > --sbindir=$HOME/bacula/bin \ > > --sysconfdir=$HOME/bacula/bin \ > > --with-pid-dir=$HOME/bacula/bin/working \ > > --with-subsys-dir=$HOME/bacula/bin/working \ > > --enable-client-only \ > > --with-working-dir=$HOME/bacula/bin/working > > ========================================= > > > > The configure script finishes without any errors. > > Then i do the "make" command. > > After a while i get the following error: > > > > ========================================= > > restore.c: In function `char * zlib_strerror(int)': > > restore.c:363: `Z_ERRNO' undeclared (first use this function) > > restore.c:363: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once > > restore.c:363: for each function it appears in.) > > restore.c:365: `Z_STREAM_ERROR' undeclared (first use this function) > > restore.c:367: `Z_DATA_ERROR' undeclared (first use this function) > > restore.c:369: `Z_MEM_ERROR' undeclared (first use this function) > > restore.c:371: `Z_BUF_ERROR' undeclared (first use this function) > > restore.c:373: `Z_VERSION_ERROR' undeclared (first use this function) > > restore.c:375: warning: unreachable code at beginning of switch > statement > > *** Error code 1 > > make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `restore.o' > > Current working directory /home2/bacula/bacula-1.32d/src/filed > > > > > > -e \a\a ====== Error in /home2/bacula/bacula-1.32d/src/filed > ======\a\a > > > > > > ==>Entering directory /home2/bacula/bacula-1.32d/rescue > > ==>Entering directory /home2/bacula/bacula-1.32d/rescue/linux > > ========================================= > > > > Here's a copy of the config.out file: > > <<config.out>> > > Thanks, > > > > Jeroen van Waveren > > MEDIAL ICT > > Netherlands |
