We at PDPC have recently been offered a year's worth of sponsorship, to the tune of (if memory serves) some $6,000, from the Linux Fund (http://www.linuxfund.org). However, we're not certain whether we can accept it without jeopardizing certain aspects of our funding breakdown required to maintain our 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit status. In light of this, I've raised with our executive director the idea that in the event we decide PDPC cannot accept this funding, we recommend -- or request -- that the Linux Fund direct this funding to support the Bacula encryption project instead. -- Phil Stracchino phi...@sp...
