Hi Guillaume, While I understand waiting for something better if it's a short way off, I believe there are a lot of people that like the current setup because it is so simple and would like a little more functionality. These two scripts are just extensions that add some functionality that people have been asking for. Wouldn't this be a good start anyway since it is already built and working and would require very little to integrate without waiting for a full SQL backend? The hard part is done now it needs to be wrapped in html to make it fit into the interface and its done. Josh, would you be willing to take a stab at doing that? I would be willing to help as well - I just don't have the energy to do it on my own. If I'm not mistaken, it was decided a while ago to go with a SQL backend for BackupPC that could be modified using the CGI interface. Someone --sorry, I forgot the name-- started working on this but had to stop for external reasons. He posted his work on the mailing list, check out the BackupPC Devel mailing list archives and maibe search for SQL in the BackupPC Users archive for all the infos. I know I should have said that when this discussion started, but I tought Craig would jump in and hopefully remember the name of the person who did the original work. Hope this clarifies the situation, GFK's --=20 Guillaume Filion, ing. jr Logidac Tech., Beaumont, Qu=E9bec, Canada - http://logidac.com/ PGP Key and more: http://guillaume.filion.org/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
