Hi all, I did another revision of the french localisation, made a couple minor changes and commited them to CVS: Checking in fr.pm; /cvsroot/backuppc/BackupPC/lib/BackupPC/Lang/fr.pm,v <-- fr.pm new revision: 1.5; previous revision: 1.4 done =46or the record, here's the list of know bugs with the translation that have not been fixed yet: 1) The dates are always written according to the english local (ex: 8/31 11:00) rather than the one specified in $Conf{Language}. I'm not sure how much of a bug it is, maibe we should stick to and international (ISO type) date format... Anyway, this should be relatively easy to fix in timeStamp2() in the CGI interface. 2) The hosts status (backup in progress, backup done, nothing to do, etc) are not being translated. They seem to be used in bin/BackupPC in variables $Status{$host}{state} and $Status{$host}{reason}. Maibe language neutral terms (ok, let's say english) should be used for the vars and they would be translated in the CGI interface. Here's an attempt (I don't have time to try it, but let me know if it looks ok): bin/BackupPC would change from: $host =3D $newHost; $Status{$host}{state} =3D "backup starting"; $Status{$host}{activeJob} =3D 1; to: $host =3D $newHost; $Status{$host}{state} =3D "backup_starting"; $Status{$host}{activeJob} =3D 1; And the CGI interface would convert the status into string using <td align=3D"center"> $Lang->{$Status{$host}{state}} </td> en.pm would contain entries like: # Hosts states and reasons $Lang{backup_starting} =3D "backup starting"; $Lang{backup_in_progress} =3D "backup in progress"; fr.pm would contain entries like: # Hosts states and reasons $Lang{backup_starting} =3D "d=E9marrage de la sauvegarde"; $Lang{backup_in_progress} =3D "sauvegarde en cours"; Merry Christmas!
