I'm actively monitoring patches and making sure that the Zmanda release is up to date with the latest patches. > - Is there even a roadmap or agreed upon wishlist for future > development? Please see http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/faq/roadMap.html . FTP has since been supported in the Zmanda edition of BackupPC, and we are planning on integrating much of our code back into the Sourceforge version. > - Are bug fixes being patched back into the tree? Craig probably is taking note of all relevant changes and saving them for a later release. > > The reason I ask is that this list has been very quiet and a quick > search through the SCM repository shows the last change was made 11 months > ago (to the french language file) -- and the last general purpose change > was exactly a year ago tomorrow. For the most part, Craig has been the sole developer for BackupPC for its history, and he only uses the CVS repository to upload new versions. Active development on BackupPC does not happen on the CVS server, and I use a private git repository for my work.
