Did you read the FAQ? http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/faq/limitations.html#maximum_backup_file_= sizes=20 -----Original Message----- From: bac...@li... = [mailto:bac...@li...] On Behalf Of = Samuel Bancal Sent: Tuesday, November 21, 2006 3:24 AM To: bac...@li... Subject: [BackupPC-users] problem restoring big files with rsyncd Hi, I've noted a new little trouble ... I'm trying to restore big files (2GB) on a windows rsyncd station. This is what is happening during the restoration : - I ask for a restoration of one file which size is 2,147 GB - The restoration starts, but during all the process I never see a "Xfer = PID" (only the PID) - on the destination host, I see the file growing ... until the size of = ~2GB - immediately this file disappears !?! - and again I see the file growing (from 0B to ~2GB) - and again it disappears ! - The process of restoration on the cgi is shown as completed, with the = RestoreLOG copied below - The log on the host is also copied below What I know is that file doesn't seem bad because I can restore it by = other ways (download, or via ssh-tar). I'm using BackupPC 3.0.0beta1 Thanks in advance!
