The error "option type (7) not implemented in popt" is a fatal error from the remote rsync. Option type 7 is POPT_ARG_VAL, which should certainly be supported by the popt included in the rsync release. It appears your remote rsync is broken in some manner; perhaps it was built with a very old popt library. Craig |
