Hi backuppc-ers, I've been running a backuppc host for several weeks and I've been quite pleased with it. I've got my backuppc files all going to a separate internal IDE drive in my backuppc server. Now, I want to start backing up the backuppc drive. What I think I want to do is sector copy the backuppc drive to a removable hard drive and rotate that drive to off-site storage. I took a look at the archive host function, but it doesn't seem to be suited to backing up the entire pool, but perhaps just one host, though I could be incorrect about that. How can I safely quiesce backuppc so I can sector copy the drive? Do I need to hook into the BackupPC_nightly job? or something else? Thanks for any advice. -- Regards, Rich Current Conditions in Des Moines, IA Overcast Temp 60.8F Winds out of the Southwest at 17, gusting to 30mph |
