In fact, is 7GB the correct size? Which version of smbclient are you using? Prior to 3.0, smbclient only works up to 2GB files. I'm not sure what the limit is in 3.0.x, but it might be 4GB depending upon how it is built. For smbclient only a single exclude can be specified. Do you have multiple excludes? There is a patch to fix this. Also, some people have noted that you might need to do this $Conf{$Exclude} = 'My Videos/*' to work correctly with smbclient. Also, you could use rsync instead of smbclient on the WinXX PC. Craig |
