I'm getting closer to making it work with BackupPC every time I sit down for a few minutes and fiddle with it... I am also working with xtar now... Thus far, no luck... hfstar is my next attempt. Doesn't BackupPC normaly use TAR to copy the files, but does the compression in a seperate step? When the files are transfered, are the tar'ed "per file" or are they lumped into one large tarball? knowing these things would help me understand how I'm supposed to make ditto behave... > Daniel > > Thanks for all the help guys. --Matt |
