I'd suggest you set the backup methods to be different, or the backup sharenames. For example, you could use rsync over ssh for linux and smb for windows. Another example is to use rsyncd for both and have the rsync sharename cDrive for windows and backupPC for linux. Since the backuppc thinks they are two separate backup entities, it will fail on the one that isn't currently booted and the other will back up. The user will get an email if he stays in one of the OS's for too long and backups don't take place on the other. Note this is probably not the only or most elegant way to do it :) Regards, Josh. |
