However it has always seemed faster to reboot with the matching install CD so chroot will work than to look up the right syntax. Current fedora disks offer to bring up the network in rescue mode so you could probably do everything from there, but sometimes having multiple windows is handy while you work in case you need to check a similar machine's disk layout or read some documentation and the knoppix disk will start X for you. ---- Les Mikesell le...@fu... |
