An RPM binary package for OpenSuSE 12.1 has been built.
Two bugfixes has been done. The work with the translation help to English is over. Backit Down entered production phase!
The sources of Backit Down v. 1.1.115 are available: http://sourceforge.net/projects/backitdown/files/source/backitdown-18.104.22.1682.tar.bz2/download
Help on the program in progress, menu commands and shortcuts are extended.
Release date is still closer. The work over documentation goes on. Some minor fixes and clearing up the code.
At last binary RPM for OpenSuSE has been successfully built (sweat and blood, sweat and blood)! Try it: http://sourceforge.net/projects/backitdown/files/binary/rpms/backitdown-22.214.171.1240-1.i586.rpm/download Help and manuals are at work. When they are over official release will be declared!
Good testing of synchronization process has been done. Few bugs discovered and fixed. I'm starting to use the application myself being sure of its' stability. OpenSuSE naming convention has been applied to the sources tarball. First attempts to build Suse's binary RPM package fulfilled (successfull till a certain stage :)
Work over folder rules testbed is done. Synchronization process now may be split on two stages and user get an opportunity to approve or cancel actions on separate files. Some bugfixes has been done.
Some decorations have been done. Work over folder rules testbed goes on. Source's tarball and Windows binaries are available.
Folder rules testbed added - partially ready for the moment. Backit sources have been put to SVN (https://backitdown.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/backitdown). Autoconf'ing is being developed (but works lamely so far - I'm not an expert yet ;)
Backit Down has been tested in the Softpedia labs and granted with the "100% FREE" award (http://www.softpedia.com/progClean/Backit-Down-Clean-189643.html). I wish to thank Softpedia team - especially Alexandru Teodorovici who did the testing. I appreciate this award very much and will go on developing Backit until it satisfies myself ;)
Come to download this version's source: https://sourceforge.net/news/?group_id=553649
Recently Russian translation has been made, added options dialog and some minor fixes.
Some code clearup and minor optimizations have been made.
Sources of the beta version are available for download. Binary for Windows will be uploaded later.
Please don't try to start synchronizing folders with valuable data if you have not run syncing in "log only" mode previously! Program is (more or less stable) beta and I cannot guarantee safety of your data for now.
Some help will be appreciated (see https://sourceforge.net/projects/backitdown/forums/forum/1814057/topic/4560732\).
