Background: Be_section, be_article, be_link and other
tables have recently been extended to include an
author_id field
The existing user administration has not been changed
to take this into account
Result: If an author is deleted, there be objects with
no owner.
Impact: Unknown.
Solution:
a. Refuse to delete author til all their objects have
been reallocated
and/or
b. Reallocate to 'Former staff member'
and/or
c. instead of deleting authors, use a new status field
to record that they have been deleted (could sharer
solution with 686120 User-status missing from
User-Admin screen)
