Because we're at RC stage, I assume that only bug fixes are being
committed to the 1.2 branch (I can't actually find a 1.2 branch in CVS,
I'm just assuming that there is one perhaps different to HEAD).

I have some updates (minor stuff; some imports removed, and some javadoc
changes) for MailboxScanner.java, but unless there are bugs picked up in
testing, I don't plan to commit the changes until after 1.2.0 final
release.

Is this what everyone else is doing?

Has anybody tested the filtering on MailboxScanner?  Performance?
