Ok, I downloaded the Linux pax-3.4 from the SUSE site link you provided. Just out of curiosity, I tried compiling it on NetBSD. Configure completed without errors but it failed to compile from various errors including at least one missing header. No big surprise there :-). Anyway I tried it on our Debian Linux VPS hosting site and it compiled clean. So I have made it available in the bu download directory. I also added a pax note file in there explaining what pax is and making it more obvious that it is required, so that you will see it when you go to download bu. |
