I did the following: 1) Removed new ayttm and its config files (~/.ayttm/*) 2) Installed old ayttm and have it create its new configuration. 3) Added the offending contact name (E r i c / [ =9A =F2 - = =C7) 4) Installed the new ayttm 5) Hover over the offending contact name... 6) ... and we have a crash One of the characters in E r i c / [ =9A =F2 - =C7 (I think it is =9A) does not translate to a valid UTF-8 character. It's again the case of ISO-8859-1 based text getting in the way. Do we include a check on startup, which will import the old contacts in ISO-8859-1 file into a new one in UTF-8? Just out of curiosity, is your environment on a UTF-8 encoding or on ISO-88= 59-1? --=20 Siddhesh Poyarekar http://siddhesh.tk |
