#47 insert/delete point actions broken

The insert and delete point actions do not clear
the previous action completely, so that the previous
action stays (partially) in effect. This occurs
e.g. when the user invokes "move", then "delete"
and drags with the mouse (instead of just clicking
to delete points, which works ok!).
