Hi,

We found that our awstats page is not updating stats
after 15th Dec 2004. We tried all possibilities, but it is
not getting updated. For example
http://giftsandbows.com/AWStats/cgi-bin/awstats.pl?
config=giftsandbows.com.

Following are the server and version details we are using

Server = windows2003 server
AWstats version = Advanced Web Statistics 6.0 (build
1.704).

Please help us to resolve this issue. As several of our
clients having the same problem. Thanks in advance.
Have a nice day.

Regards,

Support.

Sorry, because MS products are too much unpredicable, too much
buggy, making too many support requests that are not AWStats
problems but MS product bugs, because of bad documented
interfaces, and because MS technical policies are simply not
understandable (product that does not match standard rules, log
    format that are always
changing in no compatible way), I decided to spent no more time
for problems when MS products are used (os, browser nor server).

I am really sorry of this, I hope you can understand this as I have
no choice: If I want to provide usefull support on AWStats and
only AWStats problems, I need to limit my work on more stable
environment, that have a lower maintenance cost (my time is too
    limited).

    Really sorry.

    PS:
To replace IE, you can try Firefox
To replace IIS, you can try Apache
To replace Windows, you can try Linux

If you don't want MS Windows users, then I guess we'll have
to go pay a chunk of change to someone else. Your product
has done a good job for us for the last 2 or 3 years. It's not
feasible for us to switch all of our servers and web sites just
because of the stats program we use.

I would rather have just paid you a couple hundred dollars a
year and been supported in MS Windows. You had a good
product, I'm sorry you decided to go this route.

Problem is not windows users but time i spend because of
    windows.
    For problems on linux platforms:
15 mn a day and 50% of problems are AWStats, so 7.5 mn a day
are used to enhance AWStats and reduce support problems.
1 hour a day and 99% of problems are MS products.

I can't spend 1 hour each day, above all that this does not
help to enhance AWStats. I simply have no choice. Sorry.

    I recommand findopensourcesupport.com.
You can get paid support for low fees.
