I've been trying to ascertain exactly where the error is coming from, but LoadPlugin="geoip GEOIP_STANDARD" is causing a perl exception error.
I've successfully (slightly painfully) got Geo::IP perl module installed, and the Geo::IP::PurePerl module working on the Win32 platform, tested and it's working.
Whenever the server's conf file includes the plugin though, the server kicks up an error : "Premature end of script headers: awstats.pl"
Can anyone point me in the right area to get it fixed - happy enough to work on it, but a pointer would be a good head start.

FYI you can get GeoIPFree working on Win32 by downloading it directly from CPAN and installing it manually rather than using the PPM (package manager). Seems there are different versions of the files on each server and the PPM version just dont work!!!
Then you can test this is working by trying testgeoipfree.pl which can be found @
