You have to be sure that the True Type font you are using is supporting Chinese chars. Does it?

Remember that AVStoDVD uses only True Type fonts (TTF).

I'm sure the Chinese true type fonts installed on my windows folder, which are the default fonts shipped with windows, the fonts names are SimHei and SimSun, I can view them with font viewer by windows, and use them on other applications without any problem, but the two fonts are not in the font list while editing the title label.

If the 2 fonts are not in the DVD Menu Editor font list, it means that they should not be real True Type. Thus they are not supported by AVStoDVD.

Please do use only fonts listed by AVStoDVD.

Let me know any further investigations.

I open the Chinese font with the fold viewer, I can see it is true type font. you may get a Chinese fonts here http://cg.scs.carleton.ca/~luc/china.html and verify if they can be included in the list by AVStoDVD.
