I had this issue in previous versions. It was fixed in 2.7.5 But now in 2.8.0 appears again:
The subtitles position is fixed at the very bottom of the screen, for some ppl that's okay but for those (like me) who want to position the subtitles a bit above of the called "safe zone" we have the option to do it by configuring it in the preferences. But in ver. 2.8.0 doesn't work. Regardless the position i change they always appears at the very bottom of the screen.
