V1.3 Release Notes

Release Notes for AVR-Ada V1.3

Here is a brief description of the changes compared to the latest V1.2.

Compiler and Tools

• The compiler is based on FSF gcc-4.9.2.
  • The Ada compiler defaults to the Ada 2012 language version.
  • The AVR backend received further bug fixes and enhancements, see http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.9/changes.html#avr
• The binutils (assembler, linker, etc.) are based on binutils-2.24.
• Run Time System
  • The RTS reverted back to Default_Bit_Order = Low_Order_First.

• No new controllers
