Several suggestions:

The normal mode for each atom should be scaled by the inverse square root of the atomic mass

Animate modes

option to make vibration speed and displacements proportional to the frequency (I have the equations)

    So you're telling me that GAMESS doesn't print mass-weighted modes? OK.

    As for the animation modes, please send me the equations and/or pseudo code. That would be interesting as an option.
