As Normalize has to scan the whole file it is quite slow.
It would be nice to display the resulting normalizing
factor for use with Amplify.

    Can't think of another useful way.
    Maybe it could display the current and max volume or the
    frame# of the max volume.

    I had some crashes - access violations - but was not able to
    track them down.

    Yes - I' think so too.

    I'm currently working on 2.1, where most audio code is being
    rewritten to support multiple channnels and more sample
    formats. I'll implement it in this version!
