I could not duplicate the erroneous behavior with the current /trunk/. Will leave this open for now. If no one can confirm this error, it will be removed after some time.

It seems that the non-alphabetic characters are now sorted correctly. There is however still a sorting issue with records that contain numbers in the Term entry (ex. 2%-milk).
Have to wait for the client to specify exactly what the problem is.
