#671 huge gaps in pngwalks cause problems

I ran a pngwalk with 1966 by accident, then in the correct 2010. The viewer practically hangs because it would try to insert "missing" icons. There should be a limit to how many missing there can be, and just use a break symbol or ellipsis instead...
