Dave at Iowa tried to embed data in a vap which would have worked but he had timeranges in URIs which used local orbit files like:

file:///home/jbf/Downloads/ts2_wna_vap_20260121T03.vap.zip//file/MSC/L3/ts2_l3_wna_fft512_tpct59p9_fbin5_fpct0_$Y$m$d_v0.4.1.cdf?ts2_l3_wna_b_igrf_tscs&timerange=orbit:file:///Users/dphartley/Documents/Data/TRACERS/ROI_lists/ts2_roi-list.csv:TS2_ROI_02683_1

In the URI note that the file reference within the .vap is correct, but the timerange=orbit:.. refers to a file which is on Dave's system.

Also, and this is a different problem, the file comes up with the time range 2010-01-01, which I expect is also a bug.

Also the vap timerange is pointing to this non-existent orbit file, so the time comes up as 2010-01-01.

It's getting close but Dave's case still fails because of references in the plotDefaults. I need to make sure everything is converted. (I did this by hand and it worked.)
