Pity i did not see this earlier. The projects i do are on similar lines. The biggest challenge i faced was in attitude sensing. The infrared thermometers concept is new to me and is very interesting. I would like to know more about it. Where can i get more info? I have downloaded the paper by Taylor, Bil and Watkins. I am yet to read it. I am not sure of the accuracy that can be obtained with this concept. It appears that the more the accuracy needed, the more the processing requirement as in the traditional IMU's. Nevertheless it is a very interesting concept that i would like to work on in parallel to the traditional. Seeking more information on the infrared thermometers for attitude sensing!
