hello, In there data sheet, "Linearity" was definated as "Deviation of output from the ideal straight line defined by scale factor. Linearity of clockwise obeys the follozwing equation" Sv_omega - Svmax * omega/omega_max Linearity =--------------------------------------------- * 100( %) Svmax omega : angular velocity omega_90: omega_90 = + 90deg/s ( seems they forgot use this in the equation) Sv_omega: scale factor at angular velocity is omega (deg/s) Sv: scale factor at angular velocity is omega_90(deg/s) (they didn't give the defination of Svmax, maybe the maximum value of scale factor related to different input voltage.) and the tipical number of Linearity they gave is 5. I think if the sensor is perfect, the Linearity should be 0 by the defination, then the equation above equals zero, which means Sv_omega = Svmax * omega/omega_max But by physical concept, if the sensor is perfect, then I think: Sv_omega = Svmax. I was confused by the defination above. Can you give me some advice? Thank you in advance. |
