It seems that the 1.4.0-b version of aurigadoc doesn't handle well special characters (i'm a french user). It worked fine with aurigadoc 1.3.
I think the problem comes from the new merging capability(mergeDocument() in class Util).

I forgot to mention something important: Special characters in the XSL are handled correctly.

I tried with special characters and it works with encoding UTF-8 but not with ISO-8859-1
I tried with both encodings it doesn't work for me.
Only special characters in the XSL are rendered correctly.
