It has taken me a long time, but I finally figured
out that the whole reason that my Monster Sound II
sound card won't work in linux 2.4 is that I have a
multiprocessor machine running the SMP kernel. Why
can't we make modules for that?

Mine won't work either. I have been waiting and waiting for
a fix.
Will somebody please help us. I really like my MX300 card
and don't want to go out and by yet another SB card.
