Compiled with INCULDES pointing to the proper dir.

(using stock 2.4.8-34mdk SMP kernel)

Abit bp6 Mobo
dual Cel500 CPU
384megs ram

compiled without SMP support

make install10 ran fine

sound worked for about 15 minutes of the first
SouthPark 4th grade episode, sound cut out, no error
messages. Restarted X, sound will not come back.

Tried patching with the aRts patch, no effect.

When trying to use the sound mixer get message: Invalid
Mixer au8810

If more info is necessary, ask away....I've never filed
a bug report, so I'm not sure what to include.

Goto Kde Control Center, then from Sound choose soundserver.
In the general folder disable "Start aRts soundserver on KDE
startup". This may solve the problem.
