#6 Waveform display & spot to track or smart copy
I think it'd be SUCH a huge success to add a waveform display so that any files we click on will display their waveform. Also, you should be able to click anywhere in the waveform to set the playback position start point. This would make auditioning sounds WAY faster and easier.
Lastly, I think it'd be smart to design some sort of spot to track function like soundminer has where you can select any section of the waveform by clicking and dragging and then you can hit a button and it pastes that selection into your DAW. However, since this tool isn't solely used by audio engineers you could just make the program capable of copying portions of files and pasting them wherever you need. Both soundminer and basehead do this and it really is a huge time saver.
If you added either or both of these functions to the program, it would become very complete and well rounded.
