#5 Folder View to the Samples and Categories / Categories also based on Filepaths

Hi Michael,

thanks a lot for the maintenance update 1.4.5! Great work, I had no single crash so far yet!

For the future I wish to have also a folder view to the samples and categories also based on filepaths (sometimes the path has more information than the sample's name.)

Also the full path+file name of the played sample may be displayed always in full. Currently some long path+file name combinations are truncated, and unfortunately by droping the (more interesting) right part.

Thanks a lot for your work, I'm locking forward to enjoy it more and more!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll add a folder view and fix the sample names clipping issue for the next major release (2.0).

For the categories based on paths as well as file names, you can already do this (and it's enabled by default) - from the documentation "Configuration dialog > General > Include file paths when searching": When checked, Aural Probe will use file paths as well as file names to match search criteria. For example, the sample "C:\Samples\Kicks\01.wav" would only match the search term "kick" if this is checked.
