hello and good day.....It looks like it is very hard to find a person who still uses Lplex.....hopefully you are still around to help me. Waiting for a response
I'm getting this error message. I'm doing 24/96. Not very technical, but I can use some help. *ERR: jpeg2yuv|mpeg2enc failed.
I got it.
I'm getting this error message. I'm doing 24/96. Not very technical, but I can use some help.
I was using Lplex once I read the information and it was working great. After three or four DVD, it started to give this message after it converted my files to Lpex. The message is : "stat: Authoring DVD". I have no idea of whay it is asking for. What am I doing wrong?
I recently started to use lplex-0.3, cool. I'm doing FLAC 24/92, but they only sound on my Home DVD. Not on my cars DVD? Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong? Do I have to change some codes?
Ops, found out what happen. The same way you drag and drop. Is in the same order that is will record and play them. So, drag and drop all at the same time BUT, pull from the first cut to the file.
Wow, first post. I used Cilinica software for years and it worked great. I had everything, and I registered with out any problems. But as windows went advancing throughout the years. Suddenly, the program overnight, disappeared. It's updated were until 4.4. I have more then 8K DVDs with FLAC 24/96. What happen? I've read horror stories on the net. But, Iplex works, sort of. I just grabbed the first MP3 that I could get my hands on and encoded it to FLAC with dBpoweramp. But, with Iplex it isn't the...
I had this issue also when I tried to use wav files as input. I discovered if I converted my files to flac, the issue is resolved. I suspect that there are differences with wav files depending on the tool used to create them and Lplex has trouble with some. Convert to flac, maybe using zero or no compression, and it should work fine.
Same problem here, I can read the DVD+R but it is distorted and plays slowly
Hi. Is there any way to bypass exceeding limit of dvd capacity ? I've got some high density DVDs which they can hold more than one image but can't because of this limit. Thank you
I couldn't get dvda-audio to install so I thought I'd try this one. I've no idea how to do it and the README file is empty, so guessed I would have to try to compile it and I started with ./configure, I got: configure: error: "Can't find libdvdread headers: are they on your path?" How can I fix that? are the next two commands "./makefile" and then "./make"? oid-3168528 had to do this: "changing workpath in lplex.ini to an actual path on my computer and replacing alignment=seamless by alignment=discrete"....
Hi all. I made a DVD with Lplex with FLAC 48khz 24 bit music. It all went quite painless. I have 3 DVD players. Together they play everything but SACD and +RW / -RW. 2 could not even read the DVD. The other (the one I did not expect to) played it but the music sounded slow and slightly distorted. What could be the problem here? Thanks!
I've created a seamless DVD from 5.1 channel wav files (I tried 48KHz 24 bit and 48KHz 16 bit versions of the files). And I'm getting a LOUD blast of white noise between tracks.
Maintained code (March 2018) has been uploaded here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dvd-audio/files/lplex/ Functional GNU/Linux (Ubuntu 17.10, g++-7.3) build is provided. Git repository: git://git.code.sf.net/p/dvd-audio/lplex Fabrice Nicol
The legacy code no longer builds under current nix platforms. As a preliminary step, I patched the original code for minimal maintenance. The patched code now builds again (Ubuntu 17.10/g++ 7.2 or 7.3, wxWidgets local build 2.9.5) https://sourceforge.net/projects/dvd-audio/files/lplex/
Fork is doing well and should be pre-released around late May 2018 or perhaps earlier. Dependencies to wxWidgets have been removed using the experimental filesystem module of C++1z. Unless Bahman Negahban, the original author, expresses explicit reservations, the fork will be integrated to the dvd-audio tools project (https://dvd-audio.sourceforge.net) which is undergoing extensive revision (in the git code repository) and should come to completion in the month of June.
