AudioEnhancerMAX 3.7 is an open-source, local-first audio production suite for podcasters, creators, journalists, educators, researchers, and developers. It combines deterministic Smart Enhance diagnosis, non-destructive transcript-linked speech editing, audio cleanup and mastering, local Faster-Whisper transcription, delivery profiles, review tools, TTS, system monitoring, and optional trusted-LAN Android workers. The native Apple Silicon app runs in its own macOS window; its private service binds to 127.0.0.1 and stops with the app. Core DSP and packaged transcription run locally. External TTS, local Ollama editorial assistance, and LAN processing are optional, independently controlled, and disclosed. Version 3.7 adds five delivery profiles, BS.1770-based delivery guidance, processing reports, blind A/B review, SHA-256 Project Capsules, and explicit engine/fallback reporting. The direct-download DMG is Developer ID signed, Apple-notarized, and stapled. MIT licensed.
