Seems like the binary packages still ship Qt4, which is end of life for some years now: https://wiki.qt.io/Main labels it "legacy", https://blog.qt.io/blog/2015/05/26/qt-4-8-7-released/ says "Standard support is available until December 2015". Development only happens for Qt5 which is at 5.10 already.

So tulip should really start shipping with Qt5, advertise only building with Qt5, and eventually drop qt4 support altogether.

Is there a plan what has to be done, how people can possibly help?

    Hi,

You can find Tulip binaries for windows and mac os compiled and shipped with Qt5 on GitHub (https://github.com/Tulip-Dev/tulip/releases) but also BinTray (https://bintray.com/tulip-dev/tulip_binaries/Tulip/5.1.0). Tulip development is now hosted on GitHub by the way.

    Cheers!

"Tulip development is now hosted on GitHub by the way."
Please put that on the website. I just created multiple bug reports here, because tulip.labri.vr told me to. -.-
