for the GUI REPL, scripts, and plugins, Tulip uses Python 2 under Linux and Python 3 under Windows.
Apart from this, when you install tulip-python via pip3, you can use the funcitonality of Tulip in Python 3 under Linux.
This means that plugins which shall be used from the Tulip standalone GUI, but also from the linux command line, need to be written version agnostic. This adds complexity.
When can we except Tulip to use Python 3 in the standalone package on all platforms?
With kind regards,
Dominik
