After upgrading to OSX 10.9, do not forget to upgrade the command line tools for 10.9 as well (you can find them at https://developer.apple.com/downloads/index.action#) before recompiling Tulip.
I haven't upgraded Qt along, so it screams a few warnings, but it still works as fine as a Qt on OSX :)
Hey, do you get an issue with a custom built tulip 4.5 where the gl view/screen only occupies the bottom left corner?
