Hey, Tulip 5 is great! Thanks to the Tulip team!

Well, I'm sorry to come up with a enhancement request already :-) I've been using ulip 5 quite intensively already yesterday (MoN hackathon), working with the new python IDE. One small uncomfortable thing with it is you can't minimize it so you're stuck with the IDE on top of the visualization -- for a short moment at least. A solution might be to relocate the play button at the top (?) so we could drag dwon the IDE window to get it out of the way.

    Hi Guy,

I am not sure about what you mean about not being able to minimize the Python IDE windows. I have just tried on MacOS Sierra and you can mimimize it like any other window.
I guess your issue is MacOS GUI related as I am not a big expert in that field.

On other systems like Linux desktops or Windows, you can easily place the Tulip main window and the Python IDE one next to each other by dragging each of them to a side of the screen. This way, you can have your Python code and your visualization visible without having to care about the window mangement. Maybe there is some kind of similar feature on MacOS ?

Nevertheless, I think I still have not understand your real issue as I surely don't use Tulip the same you are.

    Antoine

    Thanks for your report.
The problem has been fixed in reducing the minimum size needed by the Tulip python IDE. This fix has been integrated in the current svn code line (commit #12569).
