Hello. There active fork available: https://github.com/wez/atomicparsley
I have written some software in Perl to help me catalog and transcode my music files. I perform some unit testing, and from these I get results that AtomicParsley (installed from MacPorts) seems to have a couple of quirks. When using --meta-uuid, I have add data as " data", that is, the string data preceded with four space, because when reading it back, the entered data gets truncated. At the beginning four characters are missing. When an operation to add a uuid atom is executed, the result is apparently...
Heyo. I want to use this software with get_iplayer. I can already use that and download TV shows but I do not get how this AtomicParsley software works? I read the guides but it does not make sense to me. How do I use this software and how do I use it with get_iplayer? Thanks in advance.

Is anyone maintaining AP ? Catalina's transition from iTunes to Music/TV apps has messed it up big time
i am not sure, it it the program's bug or I did something wrong I can read and change stik, rnsd, rndu, rpdu,apID,purd,sfID but I can do nothing with moov.trak.mdia.minf.stbl.stsd.mp4a.pinf moov.trak.mdia.minf.stbl.stsd.avc1.pinf with movies rented from iTunes thanks for any help
I was trying to run: AtomicParsley.exe valid_video.MP4 -T 1 I got error: unsupported MPEG-4 file brand found XAVC. Could you add XAVC S codec support for AtomicParsley? Or maybe you know such similiar tool for XAVC S encoded videos? I will apprieciate your help Kindest regards Marcin from Poland
Everyone, I've downloaded and used AP a good bit, but I admit am no expert in the finer points of metadata. I have a series of mp4s where I want to edit the metadata - but have it reflected in File Explorer in Windows. After a fair amount of experimentation, I am only able to change the title tag (with --title, of course, in AP) in File Explorer. Ideally I'd love to change (in File Explorer) the fields: Tags, Comments, Content Provider, Subtitle, and Ratings fields. But so far I can't get AP to do...
Hi, Is it possible to add some custom atom in the header of a video file? I need to add the term "loop" in the header of MP4 files before the "moov" atom. Full Details can be found here : https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44893316/whatsapp-video-as-gif-sharing-on-android-programatically Note: Just opening the video file using any text editor shows the file header and atoms. I do not want to edit the headers via too much calculations, as the answer suggests. Is there a simple command to add the...
the owner of this sourceforge product appears to be non-responsive. use the bitbucket fork above.
I noticed if I run Atomic Parsley from the command line on one file, then start a second, the second will process much faster (as indicated in command window progress bar. Both file same size. Is this normal for AP? I've read up on why MP4 tagging is slower than say MKV, but the inconsistent processing times made me think I could jumpstart it? Run then cancel an operation on a tiny MP4 file, then run desired MP4 at the quicker rate?
Updated source for El Capitan
dive , thank you! In ./build -fpermissive to g++ fixed the problem on Suse LEAP 4.2
I see the same problem: gcc --version gcc (Ubuntu 5.4.0-6ubuntu1~16.04.4) 5.4.0 20160609 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Fixed it by adding -fpermissive to g++ command on line 64
When I run ./build I get a bunch of warnings fly by followed by: g++: error: obj_files/AtomicParsley.o: No such file or directory Anyone got any ideas on building? I'm using 64bit Slackware with g++ (GCC) 5.3.0 Thanks
Added a build log.
When I run ./build I get a bunch of warnings fly by followed by: g++: error: obj_files/AtomicParsley.o: No such file or directory I would post a log but for some reason g++ refuses to print to stdout or stderr for this. Anyone got any ideas on building? I'm using 64bit Slackware with g++ (GCC) 5.3.0 Thanks
