Can you create the account the manual way?
Here's my recommendation:
Completely delete the app and data
Fresh install
Manual sign up without google sign-in
Reason:
There's an in-app browser incompatibility & google restrictions that is causing the problem.
I haven't found a solution in Android. It works in Ios
In the future I might remove the option altogether.
Once you register, there is a different method to authenticate your google calendar. There shouldn't be issues there. Please let me know if it happens. I will get a real android device on my end and test it as well in that scenario.
